Gordon Corrins - Freelance Graphic Designer
Personal statement:
I left school at 17 with a handful of qualifications, not a lot of guidance but I knew what I wanted to be. A graphic artist was able to create amazing illustrations and layouts for almost anything and combining my love of art I had to follow this path. I have done this with a break to try something new but found myself being drawn, literally, back into graphics. From a training scheme to a full time position in typesetting and design I haven't really looked back.
Adding experience in working for advertising agencies, printers, private and public sector and my most recent post as senior graphic designer with one of the largest independently owned companies in the country, it's fair to say I have been immersed in graphic design.
I have, for as long as I can recall, had a passion for all things creative. My love of art has grown throughout the years and as an artist I have channelled my strong sense of social consciousness through my artwork.
As I evolve, I have a much greater understanding, empathy, and sense of responsibility which I share with other like-minded individuals.
